Thank you, Vicki!

Hi! I'm Terry! Welcome to my blog Sharing Divine Inspiration!

I started my blog in 2010. My reason for blogging back then was to share my passion for

knitting,

crocheting,

needle felting,

and creating.

However, over the years my posts began to change.  Although I still share my creative passions I began to also share other parts of my life that bring me joy.

My cats,

books I love,

music I love,

and the husband and children I adore!

My blog has become my story, and I really like that.
I like knowing that one day my grandchildren, my great-grandchildren, etc. can log onto my blog and read my story.

I am a wife of 32 years to an amazing man, the mother of 25 year old quadruplets, an elementary special education teacher, a reader, a blogger, a knitter, a crocheter, a needle-felter, a walker, a home-body.

I am not a cook. I can cook, but I don't like to cook. I love anyone who will cook for me!
I am not a traveler. My favorite place in the whole wide world is Home Sweet Home.
I am not a runner. I used to be a runner, but my feet were about to bail out on me. I walk now. I much prefer walking over running. Now I get to see the beauty of this world that I used to run right past.

I am so grateful that you stopped by. Thank you!
I look forward to visiting your wonderful blogs.

With gratitude and joy,
Terry

  9. Thanks for your post on my blog (Knitting Assassin) - I did intend to take part, but a life-changing event in our household has meant all my plans are kaput! I posted a quick note on Vikki's blog when I finally managed to get a chance to look at my laptp! Wish you all well, anyway and if circumstances allow I'll try and drop into a few bloggers!

  11. Hi Terry, I'm visiting from Vicki's GYB party. It's nice to meet you. I enjoyed your intro and a glimpse into your world. I have made some really good friends through blogging and I think it's such a modern day miracle for home bodies because I sure am one myself. I do like to travel, but my version is going about three hours from home to Amish country every spring with my husband and eating at our favorite restaurant down there where everyone knows our names and stay at the same hotel everyone knows us at and that sort of thing. I have this thing for comfort of knowing some place. I do not knit or crochet. So many people do, and I want to learn how to really needle felt instead of what I do. Shrink old wool sweaters and stitch them into sheep, pigs, cows, and other such things. I would love to be able to do that. Right now I am throwing myself into making a miniature world and keeping myself busy with a whole set of craft projects I'd not ever done before. I hope you'll stop by and visit me there. I am looking forward to looking through some of your past posts and visiting you with your future posts.

    Bright blessings,
